Learn Revit & Grasshopper Interoperability at our Architect’s Newspaper Workshop

We're please to announce that Black Spectacles is both a sponsor of & is giving a workshop at the Architect's Newspaper's Conference in Chicago at IIT.  The workshop is entitled: Facade Patterning: Translation from Grasshopper to Revit.

The conference is October 11, and the workshops are on October 12

Here's more about our workshop:

This workshop will introduce a variety of patterning techniques in Grasshopper and how they apply to the design of facades.  We will then investigate interoperability between Grasshopper and Revit – exploring the tools that are making this translation possible: Geometry Gym, Hummingbird, Chameleon & Import OpenNurbs to Revit.  Where possible, we will have the developers of these tools present via Skype to share their stories for how the software emerged, and to provide an in-depth understanding of the limitations of each tool.  Workshop attendees should have an introductory understanding of both Grasshopper & Revit.

You will earn 8 Learning Units by participating in this course.

Visit the Architect's Newspaper's website for more information & to register for this or the other workshops.
